Service providers in a given market are compared based on objective criteria and surveys. Product presentations and reference customer opinions are also taken into account in the evaluation. In its 21-criteria assessment of BPO (Insights-Driven Business Process Outsourcing) providers, Forrester recently identified the 13 most important in the dimensions of “current offering” and “stragegy. Depending on how high the valuations are, the companies find themselves in one of the four segments as Challengers, Contenders, Strong Performers or Leaders.
