As part of its growth strategy, ICS opened a new location in Berlin in May 2014. In addition to its headquarters in Leuna and the Competence Center for the public sector in Rostock, which opened in 2012, the company now also has a presence in the capital. “This is an important step for the long-term expansion of our company,” says Michael Teich, Managing Director of ICS. “We made a conscious decision to locate in Berlin. Berlin is currently one of the most vibrant and innovative regions and is strategically very attractive for ICS. We see great market opportunities here, as well as advantages in terms of attracting qualified personnel.” Currently, ICS, as a premium service provider for Business Process Outsourcing in the HR and F&A sectors, employs 86 people at its 3 locations.
Together with its shareholder, GISA GmbH, the employees of ICS moved into prestigious premises at a historically significant address on Friedrichstraße, just a few meters from Checkpoint Charlie. Due to the close cooperation between the two companies in projects since 1999, as well as many joint customers throughout Germany, there will also be synergy effects in the further development of the market.
According to Michael Teich, no further locations are planned for the next few years. “It is important to our customers that we provide services for them in Germany and that the IT is operated in German data centers with high security standards. Our customers also place great value on direct contacts in the respective service units. An on-site presence is only very rarely expected.”
